Homemade Chicken Broth

This easy chicken broth recipe is a delicious way to turn leftover chicken parts into a pot of flavorful, nutrient-rich broth. It's perfect for using up scraps and the resulting broth is a versatile base for soups, stews, and sauces.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Bones from leftover roasted chicken
  • 4 cups Celery
  • 4 Cups Water
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

  • Take the bones from your leftover roasted chicken and add onions, celery and 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil and then turn the element down to low. Simmer for a good hour and add a little sea salt and pepper.
  • Let it cool and remove all bones.
  • Pour into ice cube trays and freeze. Once frozen remove the cubes and place in bag and you will have instant (IQF: instantly quick frozen) bouillon for your stir fry and gravies.
